Kirsten Buch of Danmission has successfully taugth New Testament Greek at Nyakato Theological College in Tanzania (see GLI news at Bible OL in use in Tanzania, Denmark and Minnesota).

The success in Tanzania is possible because the Finish Linux expert Asmo Koskinen has set up a virtual classroom at The Lutheran Training Centre Nyakato. He installed the world’s leading open source learning management system, Moodle, on Rasperry Pi3 computers, offering a cheap and effective learning environment with supervision from  Finland.

Koskinen uses the MoodleBox, which was developed as volunteer work by Nicolas Martignoni ( This brings cutting-edge elearning to rural areas at small costs and a high technical level. You will soon find detail set-up descriptions at
