She caught up as a beginner in just five days!
The story of our "Wonder Girl" in class is simply incredible. She learned to read in a couple of days. At the same time she also started learning a basic Hebrew vocabulary, and she is now able to explain the operation of the Hebrew noun and the construct phrase. After just five days!
Elly Gudo introduced me briefly to Esther in March. Afterwards she got access to Bible Online Learner and had online support by me and other fellow learners, but it really did not catch on. It was too difficult for her to sit on her own and try to figure out how the course material worked. She needed the exposure to personal training and guidance in class.
Esther is working on the Hebrew Bible translation for Chuka. She is studying for her Masters in translation and is now preparing to train as a consultant.
In order to participate in the Hebrew training, she has to catch up with the other fellow learners from BTL. In June she picked up the consonants and vowels at the same time as she was learning the grammar and vocabulary 101. She now knows how to learn day by day, and she will no doubt be able to do many hours of exercises over the next months while she at the same time fully dediates herself to her work as a translator and to her other studies.
